"PRESSUREWASHING"

This video has no dialogue. It shows a volunteer standing outside under a tent. He is pressurewashing a large plastic Veri-Kennel. When it's clean he carries it over and places it on a stack of other clean kennels. The camera pans to show hundreds of clean kennels stacked together.

Scene: Glen loads cart after cart of groceries onto belt and cashier scans and bags them.

Cashier: That it?

Scene: Glen stands in parking lot with five cartloads of groceries behind an SUV. He loads groceries into car.

"GROOMING"

Scene: Volunteer groomer Kathy is washing four chow puppies to remove their fleas.

KATHY: Ok, let me put you over in the dog bed. Over there...Here you go, baby. Next! ... These are little fat guys! ... Ok, honey. Ok, my love. You sit here with your buddy, ok? Just a minute. Just sit right there, Ok?

KATHY (to Best Friends staffer Doug, who is helping hold the puppies): The majority (of the fleas) are gone; the rest will die with the capstar. We'll get off the majority of them even though they're going to die anyway.

Scene: Volunteer groomer Shirley trims a husky's toenails while volunteer Roxanne distracts the dog with treats.

ROXANNE: I gave her that one because she... she really wanted it. Ow!

SHIRLEY: Take your time, take your time with her.

SHIRLEY: Alright, I'm going to do the other side.

ROXANNE: You need to fatten up a little, anyway. (Laughs)

SHIRLEY: Yeah!

ROXANNE (holding up box of treats): What's in there? What's in there?

Scene: Shirley walks towards command center tent wearing white haz-mat suit.

SHIRLEY: I have been doing baths in Pitt Row. We did Nutter Butter - ringworm. We did another beautiful, beautiful white dog - skin condition. Not sure what it is so we did a protective wash on him too, (with) dermatitis shampoo. Then we did also a cute, cute black dog. At first we thought maybe mange but the vets would pick that up so now we again just did again a sebhorreic type shampoo

We dress for precaution. Having fun, though!

Scene: Shirley grooming a shepherd mix.

SHIRLEY: I do! I do! Look at this tummy! Can you do that again for me? You can. Thank you, darling. Oh, yes, it does feel good, it does. I do see your tummy! I do! Oh, yes I do see you. I do. I like your tummy. You have a nice tummy.

Scene: Shirley briefing Pooch Alley volunteers on treatments.

SHIRLEY: Because as I'm finding these on the dogs I'm going ahead and putting stuff on them. He's got... he's got... I went ahead and doctored him. But now that we've pulled that dead coat off you can see it.
