Paperwork on the animals is filled out at intake. The data is then entered by office staff or volunteers into the Best Friends database. This data can then be retrieved by staff and volunteers in Tylertown or at the Best Friends Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah. The data may be viewed as a list... Or individual records, complete with digital photos, may be viewed separately. Information about found animals is also entered into Petfinder's Animal Emergency Response Network listings. The data in the Best Friends database is used to track animals as they move through treatment to placement in foster homes, or, preferably, reunion.
